As we approach July 1st and all the new Virginia state laws banning some firearms and magazines, Big Boyz Guns wanted to inform our customer base of some things we have to do to keep up. As of Monday June 22nd through July 1st, we will no longer be accepting firearms for repairs, making appointments for NFA item form 4 paperwork, make any special orders for banned items. We may also have to disable the phone as we are all extremely busy processing transfers. Emails and Facebook messages will not be answered unless we have time.

We are receiving up to 30-40 transfers per day at this point,  we are at least 24 hours behind in processing your transfer into our log books. We will contact you at the number provided in the box when your transfer is ready for pickup. DO NOT show up asking for it before we call you, We will not be able to accommodate you. DO NOT call us asking unless it has been more than 48hrs since delivery.

Please come asap to complete your 4473 and background check paperwork after we contact you that your transfer is ready. The state is taking up to 48 hours to approve delays and this time will increase as the deadline approaches. If your firearm paperwork is not submitted by June 25th, it may not be approved in time. The system may crash or get too far behind to complete your background check. Any items arriving after June 25th may not complete the transfer process by the deadline. As policy we do not transfer firearms without approval from the state that you have passed a back ground check.

The new law specifically states that you must complete all paperwork, bgc approvals and pickup your firearm before close of business June 30th. We cannot and will not transfer any banned items after close of business June 30th-NO EXCEPTIONS! Take it up with Abagail!

If your firearm transaction is not fully complete by close of business June 30th, we do not have many options for you.  If it is a transfer, you will have to arrange a return with your seller. We will still charge you $30 for the transfer and an additional $10 to repackage and process your return out of our log books. If your item is a special order a 30% restocking fee will be applied if the shipping distributor accepts the return. All orders made via the webstore are not returnable as stated on the web store sidebar terms, we will try but If the shipping distributor refuses a return for credit we cannot return the item, and no restitution will be made.
